This policy explains what personal data GoScale Media LLC ("GoScale Media", "we", "us") collects when you use goscale.media, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We are the data controller for the data described here.

What we collect and why
Contact form
When you send us a message, we collect your name, email address, company, monthly ad spend, and your message. We use this to reply to you and discuss working together. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
Free SEO audit
When you request a free SEO audit, we collect the website domain you enter and your email address. We use them to run the audit, email you the report, and follow up about how we could help. To prevent abuse, we temporarily process your IP address to rate-limit audit requests. Legal basis: legitimate interest and steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
Paid growth audit and billing
Payments are handled by Stripe. When you buy a growth audit, Stripe collects your payment card details, name, email, and billing address. We never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email, billing details, and payment status so we can deliver the audit, send your confirmation, and keep accounting records. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legal obligations (tax and accounting).
Booking a call
When you book a growth call, the booking form opens in a Calendly window on our site. Calendly collects your name, email address, the time you pick, and any answers you give, and shares them with us so we can prepare for and run the call. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type) and which pages lead to enquiries, bookings, and purchases. If you visit from the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland, analytics cookies are only set if you click "Accept" in our cookie banner. Until then, or if you decline, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless, consent-denied mode. If you visit from anywhere else, analytics is on by default and you can switch it off by clicking "Decline". We never use advertising cookies unless you click "Accept". We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again. Legal basis: in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland, your consent; elsewhere, our legitimate interest in understanding how our site is used. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for goscale.media.
Client work
If you become a client, we may process data in your ad accounts, analytics, or website platforms on your behalf. That processing is covered by our client agreement, where we act as your processor.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for their own advertising. We use these service providers to run our business:
- Vercel: website hosting
- Stripe: payment processing
- Web3Forms: contact form and internal lead notifications
- Google (Gmail, Google Workspace): sending audit reports and confirmation emails
- Calendly: scheduling growth calls
- Google Analytics: site analytics (see Analytics and cookies above)
- Upstash: rate limiting for the free SEO audit
We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and some of our providers process data in the US and other countries. When personal data from the EU, EEA, or UK is transferred outside those regions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK extension) or Standard Contractual Clauses offered by our providers.
How long we keep data
- Enquiries and audit leads: up to 24 months after our last contact with you.
- Payment and billing records: as long as tax and accounting laws require, typically up to 7 years.
- Rate-limiting data: a few hours at most.
- Analytics data: according to our Google Analytics retention setting (up to 14 months).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and UK GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict our processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, such as the supervisory authority in your EU country or the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Marketing emails
If we send you follow-up emails, every email includes a way to opt out. You can also reply or write to [email protected] at any time.
Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires it.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
